In this example, plaques distribute on proximal right coronary artery, proximal left anterior descending and proximal left circumflex respectively. Segment stenosis score was calculated by summation of minimal plaque in the proximal right coronary artery (scored 1), severe plaque in the proximal left anterior descending artery (scored 4) and mild plaque (scored 2) in the proximal left circumflex. Thus, the segment stenosis score is 7 out of a possible 80. Segment involvement score was calculated by summation of the absolute number of coronary segments exhibiting plaque.
