FIGURE 6: — The yeast OST does not cosediment with ribosome translocation channel complexes. (A) Microsomes isolated from RGY1455, which expresses His₆-FLAG-Sbh2p, were used to prepare a RAMP fraction as outlined in the diagram. (B) The total membrane extract (T), the combined supernatant fraction (S = S1+W1+W2), and the pellet fraction (RAMP) were analyzed by protein immunoblot analysis using the indicated antisera. Sample loads for the three fractions were derived from equal amounts of yeast microsomes. Asterisks designate nonspecific immunoreactive products on the Wbp1 and Swp1p blots.
