ΔΨm fluctuations are not altered by treatment with cyclosporin A. Neurons loaded with JC-1 were treated with 0.2–20 μm cyclosporin A (CsA) for 15 min before imaging. Fluorescence intensity and number of fluctuations per minute per 1000 ROIs were calculated. A, Percentage of fluctuations in cyclosporin A-pretreated mitochondria to untreated mitochondria.
