SGK1 knockdown increases H2O2-induced cell injury through the GSK3β pathway in HK-2 cells. HK-2 cells transfected with scramble control (null) or SGK1 shRNA (shRNA-SGK1) for 72 h were incubated with the GSK3β inhibitor SB216763 (SB21, 10 μM) for 1 h and then treated with H2O2 (250 μM) for 2 h. (a) Cell viability was assessed via the CCK-8 assay. (b) Cell apoptosis was determined by flow cytometric analysis with annexin-V/PI double-staining.
