The effect of P1G10 on cytokines and COX2 activity in irradiated mice. Mice were exposed to UVB radiation (2.4 J cm⁻¹) and treated with Natrosol gel, (vehicle) or P1G10. After 24 h, skin samples were dissected and processed for cytokines analysis (A) quantitative ELISA of TGF-β, IL1β, IL8, and IL10. (B) COX₂ activity was determined in cell lysates using Western blot analysis. COX₂ level is expressed relative to GAPDH using ImageQuant software. Results represent the mean ± SEM of 6–8 animals per group (* p < 0.05 and ** p <0.01 difference versus vehicle, ANOVA, Newman–Keuls post-test).
