(B) Representative liver tissue sections from ND, CCl₄, and CCl₄ + rottlerin mice were stained with α-SMA (original magnification, 100×). (C) Hepatic mRNA levels of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6 were measured by quantitative real-time (qRT)-PCR. Genes were normalized to 18s rRNA as an internal standard, and the data are expressed as fold increase.
