A selection of some of the guidelines for follow-up post surgical resection of RCC from the EAU, AUA, NCCN and CUA

Guidelines	Recommendation
EAU	Ultrasound at 6/12 and 24/12 for low risk patients.
AUA	•bull; Ultrasound, CT or MRI annually for 3 years in low risk patients post PN if initial post-operative scan is negative. •bull; After initial post-operative CT or MRI, for moderate to high risk patients, an ultrasound, chest X-ray, CT or MRI every 6/12 for at least 3 years and annually thereafter to year five. •bull; Ultrasound, chest X-ray, CT or MRI beyond 5 years may be performed at the discretion of the clinician for moderate to high risk patients.
NCCN	For Stage 2 or 3 patients after RN, CT or MRI or ultrasound every 3–6/12 for at least 3 years and then annually up to 5 years.
CUA	For pT2 patients, CT or ultrasound at 12/12, 36/12 and 60/12.
