Cancer-related pathways regulated by asporin in different types of cancer. Asporin not only promotes cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion by binding with CD44 and Smad 2/3 as well as promoting the phosphorylation of EGFR, but also inhibits cancer cell migration and invasion by binding with TGF-β in the extracellular matrix.
