Synaptosomes were incubated in the presence or absence of H₂O₂ or in glucose-free medium as indicated. After different lengths of time, aliquots were taken, and glutamate content was measured as described in Materials and Methods. Each point represents a mean ± SEM of four experiments performed in duplicate.
