Acoustic properties of PBCA microbubbles upon storage. Quantification of the US images revealed no significant differences in backscatter signals when MB were stored at 4 °C and 25 °C (E,F). For samples stored at 37 °C, the acoustic signals decreased significantly from week 1 onwards (G).
