Compared to glass and PLL surfaces, neutrophils cultured on PLL-g-PEG show no adhesion (C). NETosis on these different substrates was quantified for PMA (5 nM) (D), and LPS (150 μg/ml) stimulation (E). PMA-induced NETosis also took place on the passivated non-adhesive PLL-g-PEG surfaces, while LPS-induced NETosis did not occur. n > 500 cells for each condition. N = 3 donors.
