MAP, Hct, blood glucose (Glu), and blood gases in Sprague Dawley rats averaged from samples taken before and immediately after sham or real stimulation of FN or DN. Physiological variables are grouped with reference to the time interval after stimulation and before the placement of excitotoxic lesions in striatum. Values are expressed as mean ± SEM; n, number of rats. There were no significant differences between groups (p > 0.05; ANOVA and SNK test).
