Fig. 8. — Surface expression of heteromeric^(FLAG)β^(9E10)γ2L receptors in A293 cells. Expression was determined by immunofluorescence on nonpermeabilized cells 15–18 hr after transfection using anti-FLAG M2 mouse monoclonal antibody to detect ^(FLAG)β subunits (left panel) and 9E10 antibody to detect^(9E10)γ2L (right panel) followed by Alexa 488-conjugated secondary antibodies. Images were collected by confocal microscopy. Transfection and staining were performed simultaneously for each subunit combination, and the pictures were all taken using the same confocal microscope settings.
