A guanylyl cyclase inhibitor reversed the cytoprotective effect of SNAP on serum-deprived PC12 cells. Cells were treated with SNAP (100 μm) plus ODQ (40 μm) in the presence and absence of serum. Cell viability(A), DEVDase activity (B), DNA fragmentation (C), and PARP fragmentation(D) were determined as described in Materials and Methods.
