Inhibition of ERK signalling prevents ROT‐induced apoptosis in SH‐SY5Y cells. Cells were pre‐treated with MEK inhibitor U0126 (10 μmol/L) for 1 h, followed by ROT exposure (0.5 μmol/L) for 1 d. A, Cl. PARP was detected by Western blotting, with β‐actin as the loading control. The MTT assay (B) and DAPI staining (C) were performed to evaluate the effect of ERK inhibition on ROT‐induced neurotoxicity.
