In controls (A), the suprapyramidal, infrapyramidal, and intrapyramidal mossy fibers are compactly bundled. In endo N-treated animals (B), the ectopic fibers seen at P15 persists with randomly oriented fine mossy fibers distributed within the pyramidal cell layer and bearing typical mossy fiber terminals.
