Developmental changes in current density of the high-threshold current at +20 mV after a prepulse to −30 mV for 1 sec in control (○) and high-K-treated (•) inferior colliculus neurons. The current density in control cells increases during development. High-K treatment induced an increase in the current density at each of the early postnatal days examined.
