The relative amount of each protein in adult synaptosome compared with that in growth cones at the peak. The amount of each group A protein in synaptosome is, at most, 2× its peak amount in the growth cone, whereas group B and C proteins increased in amount more than fivefold. Each protein amount was measured by densitometric assay of the immunostained bands. The relative amount was calculated with the value of E17 as 100%. The data are shown as the mean ± SEM (n = 4).
