Defibrotide (DF) suppresses endothelial cell (EC) proliferation. An 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazole-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay was used to quantify the effect of DF (10, 100, or 500 μg/ml) for (A) 24 h (D + 1), (B) 48 h (D + 2), or (C) 72 h (D + 3) on EC proliferation.
