The active component of DGP is diphyllin. (A) The molecular structures of DGP, diphyllin, and 6-Deoxy-d-Glucose are shown. (B) HT1080 or (C) CHME3 cells were infected with ZIKV MR766 at an MOI of 0.5 in the presence of increasing concentrations of the indicated molecules. At 48 h post-challenge, infection was determined by measuring the percentage 4G2-positive cells. The IC₅₀ and selectivity index (SI) values are shown for each of the dose-dependent curves. The SI was calculated by the ratio of CC₅₀ to IC₅₀. Experiments were performed at least three times and results of a representative experiment are shown. Bars represent the Mean ± SD.
