Overexpression of OsATG8c affected the expression of the tiller-related genes. The expression levels of strigolactone pathway genes (OsD53 and OsMAX4), the cytokinin oxidase/dehydrogenase (CKX) enzyme coding gene OsCKX2, tiller inhibiting genes (OsFC1 and OsSPL14), and tiller promoting genes (OsMOC1, OsNPF7.2, OsIAGLU and OsSta2) in the tiller buds of 32-day-old SN9816 and transgenic rice seedlings.
