Comparison of the effects of ionic liquids (ILs) on time change in TOC yield from hydrothermal hydrolysis of regenerated solid filter paper, which was obtained as follows: dissolution with IL at 373 K for 120 min or bis(ethylenediamine ammonium) copper (BEDC) at room temperature for 30 min, precipitating by adding water, washing and then drying. Hydrolysis condition was at 533 K and 5.0 MPa by flowing water at 15.0 mL/min. ILs used for dissolving filter paper are: Inline graphic: [EMIM][Cl], Inline graphic: [AMIM][Cl], Inline graphic: [BMIM][Cl], Inline graphic: [HMIM][Cl], Inline graphic: BEDC, Inline graphic: untreated.
