Based on the heat activation ability, these nanostructures have been utilized in cancer therapy, on-demand drug carrier and gene therapy applications [32,33]. The magnetic nanoparticles have also been as contrast agent in magnetic particle imaging (MPI) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
