(A and B) Activity of the indicated protease and proteasome inhibitors and of metronidazole as the reference drug against T. vaginalis F1623 trophozoites was evaluated in vitro in a 24-h growth and survival assay with ATP content as readout. Results are shown as the EC₅₀, the effective compound concentration that resulted in 50% inhibition of growth and survival.
