In situ hybridization using the following control probes: U6 positive control (Q) and scrambled negative control (R) on a horizontal section of the mouse cortex at E13.5. (S) qRT-PCR for let-7a,b,c,d,f and miR-124 on samples of mouse cortex collected at E11, E13, E16 and P0. All let-7 family members, and miR-124, increase over developmental time.
