Sodium hydrosulphide (NaHS) decreased oxidative stress and increased adenosine triphosphate (ATP) synthesis in tumour necrosis factor (TNF)‐α‐treated HL‐1 cells. Oxidative stress was measured using a fluorescent dichlorofluorescein assay, and intracellular ATP levels were measured using an ATP bioluminescence assay kit in the control HL‐1 cells and TNF‐α (25 ng/mL)‐treated HL‐1 cells in the presence or absence of NaHS (0.1 mmol/L) for 24 h.
