Determination of the effect of vitamin C on endothelial function changes by train noise exposure. FMD was determined for control, Noise30 and Noise60 study nights prior and post-administration of vitamin C, which was used as an antioxidant drug to assess the impact of noise-triggered oxidative stress on endothelial function. Vitamin C significantly improved FMD in all study groups (asterisk) being significantly stronger in nighttime railway noise-exposed study participants (dagger) p < 0.001. Box plots indicate minimum, maximum, 25% interquartile, median and 75% interquartile
