The effect of stroke risk on hippocampal volume and memory performance in Aβ-positive and Aβ-negative subjects. Stroke risk, assessed by the Framingham Stroke Risk Profile, was associated with decreased baseline hippocampal volume and decreased memory performance in both Aβ+ and Aβ− subjects. Worst performance on both measurements was observed in subjects with both abnormal amyloid and high stroke risk. Error bars represent 95% confidence intervals.
