Esc and positive control C188-9 caused G1 phase cell cycle arrest. The cell cycle was significantly blocked in G1 phase in Esc groups (0.5, 2, and 10 μM) compared with the blank control group. At 10 μM concentration, Esc and C188-9 had similar bioactivity to cause cell cycle arrest at G1.
