Dimeric NF-κB proteins involved in canonical signaling are colored red with the ubiquitous p50:RelA heterodimer bolded for emphasis (29). Dimers that function in response to non-canonical (alternative) NF-κB signaling are colored in green with p52:RelB, the predominant NF-κB dimer of this pathway, darkened for emphasis (38).
