Twenty-four hours after CLP procedure, cytokines in the plasma and peritoneal lavage were measured by ELISA. (A) Plasma IL-6, IL-1 β, TNF-α, CXCL2 concentration. IL-6 and TNF-α are expressed as median with interquartile range and analyzed by Mann-Whitney U test. IL-1β and CXCL2 are expressed as mean ± SD and analyzed by unequal variance t-test; (B) Peritoneal lavage IL-6, IL-1 β, TNF-α, CXCL2. N=6-8/group.
