Holmgren 1985 and Holmgren 1987 No significant differences in pain, paraesthesiae and hypoaesthesiae between the groups after 3‐4 weeks. 89% totally free of symptoms in both groups after 6 months and 86% (with neurolysis) versus 75% (without neurolysis) after 3 to 4 years (difference 11%, 95% CI ‐15 to 36 ).
