TGF-β (top) and CTGF (bottom) in LV of 2K-1C rats treated with Ac-SDKP for 8 weeks. Percentage of TGF-β–positive area was significantly increased at 8 and 16 weeks after clipping compared with sham. Ac-SDKP treatment for 8 weeks significantly lowered TGF-β production. CTGF-positive cells showed a similar pattern.
