Effects of forced expression of ALDH1A2 on the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells. (A) Cells were transfected with vector expressing Flag-tagged ALDH1A2 or empty vector. After 24 h, whole lysates were immunoblotted with anti-ALDH1A2 and anti-Flag antibodies. β-Actin was used as a loading control. Densitometric analysis was performed by ImageJ software. The protein levels were normalized to the signal of β-actin. (B,C) Effects of forced expression of ALDH1A2 on the proliferation of ovarian cancer cell lines. Cells were transfected with Flag-tagged ALDH1A2 or empty vector. After indicated times, phase contrast images were observed (B).
