(A) BALB/c mice (n = 5-7/group) were immunized intradermally on days 0, 14, and 28. Blood was obtained on days 0, 14, 28 and 42, and fecal samples were obtained on day 35. In a subset of mice, pathology biopsies were taken from immunization site 1 (S1) and immunization site 2 (S2) on d16, and from S1, S2 and immunization site 3 (S3) on d42. (B) Mice were shaved on the dorsum and immunized on days 0, 14, and 28 at S1, S2 and S3, respectively. (C) Induration was measured (in mm) using a digital caliper by length (caudal to cranial) and width (medial to lateral) and then the two measurements were averaged.
