Expression of putative CDK and CDK-related genes in B. minutum. Messenger RNAs were isolated every 4 h from 3-4 cultures of free-living B. minutum maintained on a diurnal cycle. Following reverse transcription, qPCR was run with gene-specific primers. Data were analyzed and plotted as the average fold change relative to the 00:00 time-point ± SD.
