Fasudil reduces in vivo Th17 and Th2 cytokine post-infection. Mice were infected with S. japonicum and injected i.p. with fasudil at 0, 10 and 30 mg/kg for 5-weeks (d 21–d 56). The levels of IL-17, IL-4, and IFN-γ in the peripheral blood were assayed at 8 weeks post-infection by IVCCA.
