Intestinal dysbacteriosis promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition in xenograft tumor from inoculated colorectal cancer cells. Colorectal cancer cell HT29 was inoculated into control and intestinal dysbacteriosis (ID) mice, respectively (n = 12). On d 21, mice from both groups were sacrificed to extract the xenograft tumor, followed by analyses of (a) E-cadherin mRNA, (b) N-cadherin and vimentin mRNA, and (c) their protein levels.
