Icariin administration for 30 days increased phosphorylation-serine-threonine protein kinase (P-AKT)/AKT (A) and the expression of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) (110 kd) (B) and PI3K (85 kd) (C) in perimenopausal depression rats. Sham group (SG), model group (MG), estradiol valerate group (EVG, 0.167 mg/kg), high-dose icariin group (IG-HD, 50 mg/kg), medium-dose icariin group (IG-MD, 25 mg/kg), and low-dose icariin group (IG-LD, 12.5 mg/kg).
