Transfection and expression control experiment in HEK293H cells. (a) HEK293H cells were transfected with the NPC1-GFP vector constructs and the respective pCMV6/GFP control vector as indicated. The cells were subjected to fluorescence imaging, generating images for GFP and DAPI 24 h post-transfection. (b) Lysates of the transfected HEK293H cells were used for Western blot. NPC1 signal (red) was examined qualitatively optically. GAPDH (green) was used as loading control.
