Effect of Tob/Dex on the telangiectasia (A) and plugged orifice (B). CFA-induced MGD with meibomitis in rabbits was treated with the drug for 11 days. The scores were monitored in the presence or absence of the drug. The data express the average score of three regions of the upper eyelid. Tob/Dex eye drops significantly suppressed the increase in both scores in the telangiectasia and plugged orifice.
