1 Particles were synthesized by mixing equal volumes of F127 solution (final concentration 6.3 % w/w, pH 6.5) and HAuCl4 solutions of different concentrations, followed by incubation of the mixture for 2 h at 55 °C. Particles were purified from excess of the polymer by centrifugal filtration at 1500 rpm for 30 min at 4 °C (repeated three times). The purified nanoparticles were restored to original volume with distilled water (particles concentration remained the same before and after purification).
