Data represent mean values ± SEM of 3 independent experiments, each performed in duplicate. Statistical analysis by an unpaired two-tailed Student’s t-test showed no significant difference for K_D (apparent dissociation constant, P = 0.5381) and B_max (maximum binding, unitless, P = 0.3138) obtained in the absence and presence of Ca²⁺.
