Representative images of extracellular matrix components in nasal polyps. Nasal polyps from subjects with different phenotypes of chronic rhinosinusitis were examined for extracellular matrix content by direct staining or through immunofluorescence. For immunofluorescence, a primary antibody directed against the various matrix components and an APC-labeled secondary antibody (red) with DAPI (4′, 6-diamidino-2-phenylindole) nuclear stain (blue) was used.
