Knockdown of HOXA-AS2 decreases growth, suppresses invasion, and accelerates apoptosis in glioma cells. U87 and U251 were transfected with si-NC or si-HOXA-AS2, and LN229 cells were transfected with control vector or pcDNA-HOXA-AS2. (A) qRT-PCR analysis was used to determine the transfection efficiency of U87, U251 and LN229 cells. (B) CCK-8 analysis was performed to detect the effects of HOXA-AS2 knockdown or overexpression on cell proliferation. (CE) Colony forming ability was examined in transfected U87, U251 and LN229 cells. (FH) Transwell invasion assay was carried out to measure the effects of HOXA-AS2 knockdown or overexpression on cell invasion.
