CD11b⁺CX3CR1⁺CD64⁺ macrophages were then assessed for CD103a, CD11c and MHCII (shaded histograms = fluorescence minus one control; open histograms = antibody staining). Panel b. CD11b⁺CX3CR1⁺ subset was sorted and analyzed by cytospin. Intact cells demonstrated abundant foamy cytoplasm with prominent cytoplasmic vacuoles typical of macrophage morphology. Magnification = 800x.
