Synthetic miR-146a transfection affects multiple steps of arachidonic acid metabolism. ΔΔCT qRT-PCR analysis was used to compare specific gene expression in A549 cells transfected with 50 nM of synthetic miR-146a to expression in cells transfected with 50 nM of a non-targeting miRNA. RNA was isolated 48 hours after transfection. Gene expression was normalized to GAPDH mRNA.
