Survival, which is the percentage of the M1 lines grown from the irradiated seeds in a paddy field, was comparable with that of the non‐irradiated Nipponbare control up to 100 Gy irradiation (95–97% survival compared with the non‐irradiated control). Significant decline in survival was observed for 150 Gy (81%) and 175 Gy (75%) irradiation of dry seeds. n.d., not determined.
