Under constraints imposed by different martial arts (i.e., use of weapons, allowed use of the limbs, or the use of different pieces of clothing), we can observe qualitatively distinct spatiotemporal configurations of each synergy. These changes in task constraints very likely lead to differences in the order parameters used to describe the (in)stability of each system. See text for discussion
