Single label immunohistochemistry for CD34, CD117 and PDGFR‐α are stained in liver of ApoE‐/‐ mice (A‐E). CD34‐positive telocytes with five prolonged and thin telopodes are stelliform adjacent the hepatic sinusoid (A,D). CD117 is distributed like spots in the hepatocyte area. CD117‐postitive telocytes are observed among hepatocytes (B). Telopode is positively stained for PDGFR‐α (C,E). Nuclei were counterstained with haematoxylin(blue).
